SOURDOMICS – Sourdough biotechnology network towards novel, healthier and sustainable food and bioprocesses – is a COST Action (CA18101) started on 1st May 2019 with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for 4 years and an estimated budget over 600 k€. Each Grant Period (GP) goes from May the 1st of each year to the April the 30th of the next one.
Through a bottom-up approach, the COST Action SOURDOMICS (CA18101) brings together an impressive number of multidisciplinary group of scientists, technicians, small-and-medium enterprises (SME’s) and large companies (LE’s) spread all over the world, who dedicated for many decades to this field or are just embracing a career in cereal science, sourdough biotechnology and breadmaking.
SOURDOMICS is supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). COST is a funding agency for research and innovation networks, helping to connect research initiatives across Europe and enabling scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers.
