Jana Klopchevska is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy at University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje (N. Macedonia). Her work involves researching the different technologies and ingredients (including by-products) and products of enhanced nutritional value, researching the extraction, purification, characterization and biological properties of molecules from agri-food by-products and the application of these molecules as functional foods or nutraceuticals. She has participated in several Macedonian and European research projects. She has published over 40 peer reviewed journal articles and book chapter, and participated in numerous scientific and professional conferences.
