Dear Members of SOURDOMICS:
Following the discussion with prof Alain LE BAIL, Chair of the next ICEF14 congress (International Congress on Engineering and Food), the members of Sourdomics can access the congress with a reduced fee at early bird’s rate (700 euros including VAT).
ICEF is the major world congress on food processes; it is held every 4 years, and after MELBOURNE in 2019, NANTES has been selected. This congress gathers up to 800 and more.

Young scientists (ongoing PhD or PhD defended June 2021 or more recently) are invited to participate to the YOUG SCIENTISTS WORKSHOP on Monday 19th Afternoon (at congress centre). This event is dedicated to career building, CV writing, development of communication skills, post doc opportunities etc. The cost is 30€, but it will provide access to the workshop (around 100 students expected) and also to an evening walking diner (including food and drinks) with the Scientific committee of ICEF14.
YOU CAN STILL SUBMIT POSTERS ABSTRACTS (up to 2 max) with 2 poster sessions (1.5 days each).

All technical visits, orals etc are fully booked.
WARNING: The week of the ICEF14 congress is quite loaded (other events in Nantes) and we recommend that you book your accommodation without any delay (in general you can adjust dates or cancel for free on platforms like booking) The APART CITY Nantes cité des congrès is close by with furnished apartment for reasonable price; it’s a good choice in case you come as a group for example.
With the ICEF14 you will get a free mass transport card for the week of the congress.
