The journal Foods (ISSN 2304-8158, IF 4.092) is currently running a Special Issue entitled "New Insights into Cereals and Cereal-Based Foods, Volume II"

Prof. Dr. Papageorgiou Maria, WG1 Vice Leader, is serving as Guest Editor for this issue.

In the previous SI, under the same title, the Sourdomics community contributed 8 published papers. We look forward to a new round of submitted manuscripts from each one of you!

This Special Issue addresses both new scientific insights and technological aspects in the field of cereals

The submission deadline is 20 January 2022. You may send your manuscript now or up until the deadline. Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Foods is fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of CHF 2000 currently applies to all accepted papers.
